Halloween '08
Our jack-o-lanterns... M and I prefer silly, while K (and C) go for scary.
Our costumes for last weekend's Halloween party. Argh! Keeping with tradition, Alex, Aubrey and Dylan came to our neighborhood to trick-or-treat with M and C.
Aren't these the cutest little pirates you've ever seen? C kept the hat on for about as long as it took me to take this picture.
I love your costumes! Didn't you wear that same outfit to work on the first day of school at Berkeley Lake?
BTW- check my facebook page for a girl named Callie S. This is the same Callie in my fifth grade class that first year I taught. She is married and a reporter in Tennessee.
I am the mother of two awesome children and the wife of one awesome man who happens to be my best friend. Our family loves to laugh, so I have created this blog as a tool to document our laughable moments (past and present) as well as events from our everyday lives. We have many relatives and friends who live out of town or state, so this blog will hopefully keep them up to date with what's going on in our lives.
At the height of laughter, the universe is flung into a kaleidoscope of new possibilities. ~Jean Houston
A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book. ~Irish Proverb
Mirth is God's medicine. Everyone ought to bathe in it. ~Henry Ward Beecher
We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have. ~Frederick Keonig

And now I am officially a dinosaur.
That is too funny! Richard has some "kids" from Berkeley Lake on his facebook page too. Yes, we are definitely dinosaurs.
P.S. You clearly have forgotten... I wore my white shiny maternity boots the first day at BLES.
