Flat Stanley Visits Georgia

Flat Stanley made his way to Georgia to spend a couple of weeks with us. (Thanks, Babes!) In case you have not met Flat Stanley, he is a character from a very popular children's book who becomes flattened by his bulletin board and then exeriences life in his flattened state and is mailed to friends in an envelope! After reading the book, children in elementary classrooms ship their own Flat Stanleys to various friends' and family members' homes so that Flat Stanley can experience life in other locations.

So.... here are some of Flat Stanley's adventures during his visit with us...

The "friendly" ghost who now resides on our front porch mistook Flat Stanley for the Boogie Man (that's why he's there, after all) and captured him! Luckily, M was there to save him. Whew!
Help! Flat Stanley has fallen into a pumpkin patch, and he can't get up! (We were asked to dress Flat Stanley in attire appropriate for our area. We felt UGA attire was most appropriate.)
Ugh! The pumpkin Flat Stanley chose was enormous!
I think Flat Stanley loved the bunnies as much as M did!
Our park system was just recently named #1 in the nation! Flat Stanley was impressed!
Flat Stanley was shipped back to Illinois today. We'll miss you, Stanley!
